Looking to save money on training costs?

Looking to reduce the burden of external training?

Roger Grice Associates can help you achieve this by empowering your staff with the necessary skills to become effective trainers. Through undertaking one of a selection of two City & Guilds courses, depending on what best meets your needs, we will give your staff the skills necessary to develop your own in-house training provision.

Training comes in the form of the City & Guilds 7300 - Introduction to Trainer Skills course.

This course is an ideal qualification for those who train or wish to train others in organisations, and is widely accepted as a qualification that falls under the heading of "train the trainer".

The course is intensive, delivered over 2 days, and provides participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training.

No matter what training your require your staff to undertake, whether it be sales, shop floor skills, IT or financial planning - this course will enable your staff to prepare and handle whatever happens in the training room with panache, flair and professionalism, as well as giving them a City & Guilds certified qualification.

An alternative to the City & Guilds 7300 - Introduction to Trainer Skills course, is the City & Guilds 7303 - Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector course.

The principle of the course is to provide an in-depth introduction to individuals who wish to train or teach. As a qualification it will provide your staff who are trainers, and facilitators with the necessary skills and knowledge to support learners. The course follows the following structure: -

  • Own role, responsibilities and boundaries of role in relation to learning
  • Appropriate teaching and learning approaches
  • Session planning skills and demonstration of those skills
  • How to deliver inclusive sessions which motivate learners
  • The use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping

We can deliver any of these courses in-house at your company premises or at our training centre in Talbot Green, South Wales.

A 20% discount is available for groups of 5 or more people. The course is also available for individuals at our training centre, should you wish to send just 1 or 2 members of staff on a particular course.

Enquire here or call us on 01443 223544 for more details of how we can help you cut your training costs.
