Roger is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, a Registered Health and Safety Practitioner and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD; and has an MSc in Training and Performance Management. His career has included College senior management and 15 years with Oil and Gas companies like Shell, ARAMCO and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company as internal consultant and training expert. He has worked in the Middle East, the Far East, South America and West Africa. 

He is an accomplished facilitator of learning and an expert in the field of competence development, particularly where industrial personnel are concerned. He has successfully introduced innovative business initiatives which has helped solve his client's problems and proved themselves to be extremely cost effective.

Areas of personal expertise include Competence Profiling and Career Laddering, Coach and Mentor training, Electrical Safety, and Risk Assessment.
